HUGE mistake. I despise McConnell, but Conservatives need to back him as if he is Ronald Reagan. If they do not, the abominable Alison Grimes will win, and continue to win for perhaps the next 36 years.

This same thinking is what gave us Jim Jeffords, Arlen Specter, and Lincoln Chafee. McConnell is just as much a traitor as these three.
If I lived in Kentucky, I wouldn’t vote for the democrat, but I WOULD NOT give a vote to McConnell.

If they do not, the abominable Alison Grimes will win, and continue to win for perhaps the next 36 years. We need her to win. We need her to win because it is the only means of making an example out of Mitch McConnell, which is FAR MORE IMPORTANT than worrying about whether Grimes will win again in six years. (she won't.)
McConnell contributed to our losing the Mississippi Senate seat. What good does it do us when someone like him deliberately throws away a seat to prevent us from taking it and then holds on to his own? How do we come out ahead? The Mississippi Senate seat was just as important as the one in Kentucky.
No my friend, you are not grasping just what this man has done and will do again in the future. Grimes is by far, the lesser of the two evils.

Well, McConnell should have considered that before he crapped all over political conservatives.

Yes, because a freshman Democrat senator in Kentucky, elected only because the Republican incumbent drove away his base, would be impossible to beat ... /s.
If conservatives have such little intestinal fortitude that they are scared that Grimes could retain that seat for the next 3 1/2 decades, then the Republic is surely lost. But I am still hopeful that you are in the minority, at least on that particular fear.

Wrong. We can win the other Senate races, rid ourselves of McConnell
and be just fine.

I would say that I can’t believe the self destructive replies you have received, but sadly I see it all the time here.

Please see Post #119 and give Kentuckians a little credit. Let a good Conservative run in 2020, who will not have demoralized and alienated the Conservative base and Grimes will not be around for the next 36 years.
