They are self-absorbed materialists. It is all about them and not about Christ.

More like Telon Slope. I listened to it and couln’t believe my ears. I’m still trying to figure out if she meant exactly what she said or it was taken the wrong way. It’s starting to sound like a prosperity preacher with no relationship with G-d to me.

Once a church goes Mega, I believe it is either for self aggrandizement or profit. History has shown this to be true more than once.
And I don’t leave any church or denomination out in my assessment.

Do what's right. It's good in itself. It also sometimes happens to be good for you.
If you do what's right only because or when it's good for you, you're missing the point.
If you stop doing what's right because you don't always get rewarded, you've lost your way.

Why did God make you?
To know Him, to love Him and to serve Him in this life and be happy with Him in the next.

I Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
