I saw or read a news story early on after the shooting that
Ferguson had dash and perhaps body cameras as well that they had ordered, but they had not been installed/handed out at the time of the incident. Can’t vouch for the accuracy of the story, but I don’t recall hearing or reading that again. Seems that Officer Wilson would be justifiably livid if those items had been collecting dust in some storage area.

Read the same thing. What I can't understand is why police unions and the rank and file haven't been demanding this. Oh well, like it or not it's an idea whose time has come.
