I don’t want American kids to have a government enforced, ‘common’ education.
I want them to have a diverse education with people who care about them in charge....local parents and leaders.

I know of some countries with a common core education--Japan being one very good example. The only problem is that ends up over-emphasizing conformity and rote learning, something that even the educators in Japan realize in the long term is not a good idea.
