Let’s give nuclear weapons to Ukraine.

So I guess the Ukrainians should just hoist the white flags? And then what? The Baltics? Poland?

Ukraine gave up their nukes when the Soviets, err - Russians promised never to invade and the USA and NATO promised to defend them when the Russians broke their promise.

Well, then we all better surrender because they could nuke anyone who doesn’t go along with them.

Not to worry. Dear Leader has proclaimed that we can “absorb” a nuclear attack.

I keep thinking as I saw an old clip from January 1984 for "Airwolf" where st that time, the Army was interested in me to learn Russian and electronics after I got out of high school (I was a junior then). There is a side of me wishes I took that path, I'd be working in military intelligence. The downside is that after 1991, I could have been out of work but now, I could be called back at the age of 48 to pick up after I left off in the 1980's as these things heat up. I often wonder how many middle aged "Cold Warriors" will be called back.
I think it is about time we give the 1980's a call and bring back the foreign policy from back then.
Too bad Ernest Borgnine is gone, we need Jan Michael Vincent to fly Airwolf for the Ukraine although I think Caitlin can fill in Borgnine's role very well as EWO.

Or is he only willing to risk nuclear war in order to keep the Russians out of Poland?
To: tcrlaf
Hmmm ... who to listen to?
The man who freed Poland from the USSR?
or Samantha Power, John McCain, and the FReeper keyboard commandos?
