That proves, you never give up your guns, or nukes. At one time, The Ukraine was was the 3rd or 4th largest nuclear power.

What is it about libs that can’t understand that US having nukes = Good. Russia, or China or Iran or anyone else having nukes =Bad?

Thinking we can make ourselves vulnerable to the world to make some sort of peace statement which will lead in everyone else disarming will only result in our demise by the Putins of the world...

If we give up any more nukes in new treaties, especially if unilateral will signal to the world we believe we are the new Nevell Chamberlain, only we believe it will work this time.

And if with another treaty, keep in mind at these lower levels cheating will result in a much more dramatic relative advantage, and Russia/USSR has cheated on EVERY treaty it has signed.

The very concept of “minimum deterrence” is flawed. The notion that you will have only the bare minimum to deter your enemies only encourages them to cheat or beat by any other means to defeat the deterrent. It invites an attack based on when the potential enemy thinks the deterrent is below minimum to prevent defeat by technology, cheating, or deception, and could cause disastrous miscalculation.
It would be better for us to maintain weapon levels that leave absolutely no question that at the very least, the potential attacker cannot win, and that any post attack correlation of forces does not favor them. Obama will never understand that.
