Well, if something does happen, we can sure count on the support of folks who trashed our efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan non-stop for years.
Perhaps we’ll do what they wanted last time, just let the terrorists have a free shot.
You know it will be our fault too. Our military isn’t all at home, even though 09/11 took place when they were out of the Middle-East.

Actually, on 9/11/01, a lot of US Air Force and Navy were in Saudi Arabia at King Kalid AB (and other places in SA) enforcing the no-fly zone against Saddam Hussein.
It was one of the things Bin Laden used to justify 9/11; that “Crusader infidels” we’re defiling the Holy Land of Mecca and Medina.
Bin Laden had been upset for years before 9/11 that we were in Saudi Arabia. Then again, they’ll find any excuse to attack us.
