The liberal establishment GOP stood by and let Delay get railroaded on charges that were later proven bogus.

They damn sure don't care.

And Delay's career is ruined. No use wishing for what isn't.

Getting rid of the barstids that did that and allowed it... that would be a good strategic and tactical move.
