RR - is this Howie’s last day?? With VB, Giles and Howie talking about days past I wondered. Have been out of the loop lately.
Giles Threadgold, ALWAYS an added entertainment factor to the Howie Carr show! Can’t believe that it has almost been a decade since he would be on. 89 and still going somewhat strong.

said yet by Howie, RKO/Entercom etc but
I get the feeling the contract expires at end of
month and we don’t know for sure if RKO is picking
it up or WUFC 1510 etc. His new deal
is syndicated by Global Media and he will
do the show from the Money Matters/ Fin.

retro hour sure seems like a sign of
looking back, even as he looks

I often listen to Howie via the WNTK app or WNTK on TuneIn. A tune OUT for me is when I hear that voice saying I’m Jeanne Shaheen and I approve this message. Thinking back to the Gong Show, I picture Chuck Barris coming out on stage and then, as the first notes of “Jumpin at the Woodside” are played, we see a woman come out on stage to do a funky dance.
Chuck’s mouth drops open and his eyes widen.
“That’s...that’s, Jeanne, Jeanne, the taxing machine!”
