The dynamics will change significantly. The results probably won’t.

Instead of using the Senate as the block, the Senate will force the White House directly into some debates, where no they get to be the innocent bystanders. With a small majority, we will see no policy changes of consequence, though. Plus, the leadership is historically incapable of mounting any sort of effective public dialogue.

Well the only thing that will change is it will be different people blaming everything on Bush. What a bunch of children they all are. Keep playing fools. I just wish we could pick who the bad guys behead first.

Well, at least it’ll look good on the score sheet. Then the dims can just whine about more gridlock and obstructionism by the publicrats.

Too much hype.

There isn’t that much of a difference in the Senate if you hold between 41 and 59 votes. Just different offices for different politicians.

Nothing CAN change until a new POTUS is elected. Even if the GOP captures both houses of Congress this November. BHO will simply pull out his veto pen. The best we can hope for is a stalemate for now and to use 2014 as a building block for 2016. The Dems did precisely this in the 2006 midterm elections, capturing both house of congress, then elect winning the big trifecta in 2008, winning the presidency, the House, and the Senate. 2014 is critically important in laying the groundwork for 2016. The above article is absolutely correct.

I agree. When the dem's are in charge, they play hardball. But with today's GOP leaders, all you'll get is mush.

I disagree. A strong conservative senate leader can do alot to turn this ship around.
