Members of the Islamic State, a violent group of extremists presently terrorizing Iraq and Syria, have released a video threatening President Vladimir Putin and vowing to wage war in Russia's restive North Caucasus. A Message to Putin

A video released by Al Arabiya and reportedly filmed in a seized airport in the Syrian province of Raqqa features an Islamic State fighter seated in a military jet, saying: "This message is for you, Vladimir Putin! These are the aircraft you sent to Bashar [Assad], and we're going to send them to you. Remember that!"

They’re going to discover that Putin ain’t Obama.

Yep, they are going to discover that Putin does have has a strategy for handling rogue Islamist. And it won't be pretty.

Gog and Magog are considered to be Russia. If Russia allied with ISIS and brought arms and troops into the mix, ISIS could figure in.

ISIS by itself wouldn’t constitute Gog and Magog per my understanding.

Russia's in far more immediate danger than we are.

Russia's willing to fight to defend themselves, we're not. That makes us much more in danger than them.

The Russians are good fighters but remember Afghanistan. They weren’t used to the shoot-them-dead-right-where-you-find-them policy. On Russian soil it may be different, though.

Yes, Gog and Magog. That’s to come. Iran and Russia is the common interpretation.

Note that for Gog and Magog to happen, Russia has to survive. Some of the players disappear from prophecy after a certain point, which probably means they were vanquished in a previous scenario.

I certainly hope so.
I have no love for the Rooskis, but ISIS is worse.

Which Russians? The 14% ( and climbing every year) who are Muslim?
The estimated 50% Muslim conscripts in their army in less then a decade?
The ones in the 57 Muslim minorities in Russia?

Some payback is coming Russias way for its long history of Imperialism.

We should support that #@$#(@#+(* Putin and Assad (and anybody else) who wants to kill IS fighters.

Don’t like Putin much, but you got respect him...

Good luck with that. :>)

Putin actually has something between his legs, as well as a functioning backbone and brain. ISIS will really find out what Western technology, backed with guts, can do - certainly Bam-bam won’t do anything of the sort. Actually, I hope that they try something with Russia - Putin will destroy 90% of them, and it’ll keep him from screwing with Ukraine and other places for a little while.

Russia may have more willpower than the west but they don’t have the best track record against well armed Jihadi’s. ISIL has got our armor, they have billions of dollars, and they likely have a large stash of Manpads courtesy of bathhouse Barry himself. I don’t know if this will be the one-way slaughter many here seem to think.

Russia has some pretty tough fighters, and they have leaders who are willing to fight... especially when attacked.

We have Obama for our CIC... his idea of a fight is having Holder open up a criminal investigation on people.

except, curiously, China.

Putin will cut an alliance...watch ...

I dunno. While I can see where you're headed with it, I don't think that's be the case. I don't think the king from the north will be that far north, although I believe there's something about the revised Roman empire being defeated by the bear? Something along those lines. I'd hafta bust out my study notes from way back.

Putin will turn the ISIS army into a smear on the road.

<><>><

And the collateral damage will be enormous as well. The Russians simply don’t factor that into the equation.

Beslan and the Moscow movie theatre taught us all that.

Obama won’t be President forever.
We don’t have a huge indigenous Muslim population in our country and many more across our border.
We haven’t showed all our neighbors what treacherous, malignant shits we are like Putin has the Baltics , Poles, Rumanians etc.
Short term, yeah, we are stuck with Dear Leader.
Long term Russia is stuck with tens of millions of Muslims, terrible demographic problems and neighbors who hate them.
Not a pretty picture for Puty.

Oh! Well, okay.

Beslan must bring back such fond memories of hiw Russia will acquiesce to your anethma to humanity. ..

Your accursed faith needs to be dropped into the cesspool found at the bottom of an outhouse...

While I do think there are grounds for that statement, please don’t forget the Moscow theater and Belsan school attacks. Russia is very vulnerable.

Both attacks made it clear Russia didn’t have a good way of responding to these terrorist attacks. In truth there not an easy answer to them. Add in nukes... and we’re talking major damage.

Poopin was a absolute idiot to green light Iran IMO.
