I don’t disagree with your logic, but once this technology is out there, it’s basically going to be a free for all IMO. One group will need funds and they’ll sell parts of it. You may have a guy who isn’t as loyal to your group as you think. There are a number of ways this information spirals out of control once it’s provided for any terrorist group.
Here’s the part a lot of people forget about terrorism: it is 80 percent psychological, and 20 percent physical violence. The message of terrorists is that: we have infiltrated your nation: now we do a lottery on who we are going to kill or attack. It’s possible for people to even turn on their own nation, or fellow citizens, if they are scared enough of the threat, or sufficiently fed up. It’s even possible that we could see ISIS pull off another 9/11 attack in the US. I’ve seen enougj calls ignored from the parents of terrorists that it is disturbing. I also see the scary potential of terrorists infiltrating and assasinating their choice of politicians to prove a point.
