More Violence at Nashville Youth Jail

Despite its idyllic-sounding name, the Woodland Hills Youth Development Center had seen a decade of violent clashes, breakout attempts and attacks on guards.

This news story has me thinking of the Michael Brown shooting. In this news story there was a video of an unarmed black youth attacking a white cop. None of the reporters commented on that tho they still mention that Michael Brown was black and unarmed when he was shot by a white cop.

In that video the black youth in this facility was unarmed when he was beating the cop who could've used deadly force as the youth was the aggressor.

That was my first thought as well.
