CNBC Viewership Plunges To 21 Year Lows
Zero Hedge ^ | 05 September 2014 | Tyler Durden

Posted on 09/06/2014 6:43:07 PM PDT by Lorianne

It's over: whether due to the complete domination of centrally-planned markets by a few central banks, whether as a result of HFTs forcing out all human traders and investors, whether due to volatility plunging to record lows and complacency at record highs, whether viewers simply aren't impressed by the new young, female faces that are increasingly taking over the primetime financial TV slots, because people are tired of Cramer's endless "caffeine" high and endless attempts to justify a record disconnect between manipulated record high "markets" and a stagnant economy in which some 53 million workers are "freelancers", or simply because video game consoles don't watch TV, America's interest with finance and the stock market is over.

Jim Cramer is shouting and outraged... but that has nothing to do with the ratings.

Maybe they should consider becoming an American network again.

Every NBC channel is dishonestly pro-Obama. The viewers are waking up and realizing they are being lied to.

the Fed is using printed money to buy stock futures. You can’t get more rigged than that.

Officially CNBC stands for Consumer News and Business Channel. But is it really a consumer news channel? Heck, MTV stands for Music Television, but they have no music anymore, instead shows about teenage girls getting pregnant.

Looking at a clogged toilet back up gets sickening. The loss of readership is understandable. Why anyone ever bothered to look at the fifth-column CNBC mess in the first place is the mystery.

you mean, people have a problem with Bill Griffith cheerleading, “one hour to go to the closing bell, come on people, you can do it, we can close at all time highs”.

If you use Comcast, change providers. Comcast owns NBC Universal.

If you pay extra for a package with CNBC or other Comcast network, find an alternate way. Your package fees support Comcast. Heck, just go back to Over-the-Air for free. You get HD and more stations for free over the air now than you ever did before. Many local stations have three total channels on their bandwidth.

Stave the beast. You are the ones keeping it alive.

My wife and I dropped Comcast and now have Internet from a different provider. It's great and saving money, while we have all our favorite shows online or on television.

Americans and even capitalist investors such as myself are tired of the wall street spin and their disconnect from main street. CNBC is nothing but a propagandist network for the fed and the cronyism that exists now in business. They celebrate money printing and everything that’s wrong with America now. The sooner Santelli moves to Fox the better
