Yes, that’s Southern black English. Probably have to grow up in the region to understand it. We’re use to it.

And have to say, I know some good Black people in this region, many. But there sure is this undercurrent brewing. I hate to see such disregard for another human being, no matter the color. All of this is just below the surface, waiting to boil over...a race war.

You and I, both. And let me tell ya’, the ‘old school’ “don’t play that”.

Know many older folks in our town ‘hood’ and they frikkin’ hate the hip-hop culture.

Wow, it’s regional. But is that the English that is taught in schools? I wonder how they understand TV which is mostly So Calif English.

Yes, there seems to be a well spring of support for a race war. I don’t know if it could happen. Probably some places.

But in L.A., blacks are being swept out of the city by rising prices. They are moving south and east with Mexicans moving into their neighborhoods.
