All we hear is it can’t do this or can’t do that. So far none of those “cants” have been accurate.
If your thoughts on this were correct, why hasn’t it spread faster and harder?
This reminds me of the early days of AIDS when many believed if you were within a few feet of one who had it, you could get it.
Seems to be spreading fairly well in liberia.
The way you believe it can be spread would have the entire planet infected within a couple of months. It’s been linger than that and it just ain’t happening.
Sounds like you fear it a whole lot more than its reality.
Did you see the interview with Dr. Brantly on TV? After his symptoms started, they did a test that came back negative. He had to wait 72 hrs., IIRC for the second one which was positive.
My opinion the person should be isolated in “hot zone” conditions to see what other symptoms he develops. While some people may be acting like chicken little, others are just not cautious enough when dealing with suspected cases. Just my opinion.
Well, we could do it, providing no one visited us, and we’d have to have the post office stop mail delivery for that time period. I guess we could post great big quarantine signs.
It’s my kids and grand kids that would likely be exposed. Kids have to work and grand kids have to go to school. So there would have to be considerable infection in the area, before everything closed down.
If/when it hits the USA, those who think they may have it, will need good medical care if they have it. If they don’t have it, they risk exposure by going to the hospital. If they don’t go to hospital, they risk exposing the rest of the family, if they haven’t already. No good choices.
