“Those who hate Israel hate America,” he continued, as the boos and calls for him to leave the stage got louder. “Those who hate Jews hate Christians. If those in this room will not recognize that, then my heart weeps. If you hate the Jewish people you are not reflecting the teachings of Christ. And the very same people who persecute and murder Christians right now, who crucify Christians, who behead children, are the very same people who target Jews for their faith, for the same reason.”

Nothing wrong with that line at all.

Ted=Edward= (Old French...”Warrior”)
Cruz= (Spanish..”The Cross”)
I wish i had his courage.
That is an interesting insight!
Very cool move.

I truly hope so as well but I think if that happens the GOPe, who control the GOP cash, will abandon him just like they did Cuccinelli in the Virginia Governor race.
Farage, the leader of UKIP, made a statement that the conservatives in the US may have to make their own party but in 2016 that would spell disaster for conservatives and our Country. We are too far down the communist road to mess around building a new party and gaining votes.
I think we need to get Cruz the GOP nomination and then force the GOPe to give their support for them via major political intimidation. There is no one savior here on Earth but through us, the citizens of this country, Cruz could do a whole lot of good and hopefully start the turn away from the road to Communism on which we are presently traveling.
You’re making the assumption that Cruz was speaking to the audience sitting in front of him, as opposed to a much larger audience that would end up hearing elsewhere (like FR) what he said and did there.
Cruz is a master debater. He knows full well that sometimes you need to provoke the other side into a bad reaction to open the door to getting your point across to a much wider audience.
Wait a minute....This was a middle eastern CHRISTIAN conference, am I right? So what were Muslims doing in the audience?
Please give me one example. If Christians are siding with a terrorist organization like Hamas, which I don't believe, whose fault is that?
I worked with a Christian Palestinian woman that hated Israel. She didn’t like the Muslims either, but hated the Jews.
He has my vote in 2016. He is what this country so desperately needs: a courageous and principled leader who is fearless in the face of adversity.
That's the difference between Cruz and Rand Paul - who understands how the game has to be played.
I would rather see Palin/Cruz ‘16
for 16 years of conservative bliss
then Cruz/Rubio (just kidding)
;-)shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach
Yah'shua was/is/and will always be a Jew.shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiachHe will rule the world from Jerusalem
on the throne of David.He did not come to start a new religion.
He came to teach His WORD
and share it with the whole world.
Most culturally Christian groups in the ME, like the Copts, Assyrians, Maronites, etc., do not teach salvation by grace through faith on the Lord Jesus Christ alone. They add works, sacraments, liturgy, and all the rest of the trappings of what the Bible calls "will worship" - i.e. manmade worship that replaces the gospel of grace.
Obviously, this doesn't mean we should stand by and ignore it when ISIS or the Muslim Brotherhood rounds them up and rapes and kills them. But it DOES explain why a major fruit of genuine conversion to the Lord Jesus Christ - that of loving God's people - is vociferously absent from them, by and large.
Pew Research does extensive polling on new immigrants and new immigrant citizens.
I don't know if they specifically poll Coptic Christians, but I'll check.
New immigrant citizens from Latin America, China, India, Africa, and Muslim countries are all at 80% Democrat or higher.
New immigrant citizens from the Philippines are a bit more Conservative, around 70% Democrat.
Those 5 groups make up at least 90% of our immigrants.
If Coptics are an exception, then I will retract, and apologize.
Wow! Thanks for sharing.
