WASHINGTON, DC, USA – Islamic State (ISIS) militants in Iraq and Syria now have about 20,000 to 31,500 fighters on the ground, the Central Intelligence Agency said Thursday, much higher than a previous estimate of 10,000.

"CIA assesses the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (IS) can muster between 20,000 and 31,500 fighters across Iraq and Syria, based on a new review of all-source intelligence reports from May to August," CIA spokesman Ryan Trapani said in a statement.

"This new total reflects an increase in members because of stronger recruitment since June following battlefield successes and the declaration of a caliphate, greater battlefield activity, and additional intelligence," he said.

We aren’t making a very good start on Obama / Kerry’s “not war”. Of course we must remember that this has nothing what so ever to do with the peaceful religion of Islam.

Sheesh that’s nothing. There’s what…a force of nearly 1 billion in the “religion of peace” /sarc ? The “religion of peace” /sarc has enough manpower, money and military hardware to wipe out these “hijackers” /sarc of the “religion of peace” /sarc. No need for our involvement at all. The “religion of peace” /sarc has our backs on this ragtag gang.

“much higher than a previous estimate of 10,000”

I’m pretty sure the previous estimate about a month ago was 5-6000. In any case, that’s quite a jump.

Thermobaric air/fuel bomb. Over and over and over.

There’s plenty of petroleum products over there to work with.

“much higher than a previous estimate of 10,000”........

And this “estimate” comes from our so-called Central Intelligence Agency? No wonder things are swirling down the crapper with that bunch overseeing things. Bunch of dumb-asses!
