Here’s some evidence:

Only 10 countries supported Russia’s imperial actions in Crimea.

The United Nations General Assembly voted to condemn Russia's violation of Ukrainian territorial integrity this week in the first vote by the body since Moscow's annexation of the Crimean peninsula.

No doubt they are laughing about the fact that their supporters on FR are so gullible.

More bullcrap. Put on your little blue hats and march in lockstep. If obama and his ilk get their way West Ukraine will be another muzzie hellhole in the near future, just like the Balkans.

And don’t think for a minute that I don’t realize that Putin is just the other side of the same coin. If he’s gonna do it, he’s gonna do it his way, because it’s his sphere.

Obama has done nothing for Ukraine. If Obama gets his way, Putin's invasion will continue.

...West Ukraine will be another muzzie hellhole in the near future, just like the Balkans.

Ukraine has few Muslims and the only Muslim's entering Ukraine are in Putin's Muslim Vostok Battalion.

...it’s his sphere.

Putin's so-called "sphere" (vomit), in this case Ukraine, is a sovereign country made up of an overwhelming majority of people who don't want to be controlled by Russia.

Wow. I’m officially shocked. A piece of objective journalism on the subject in Western media is not that you could expect to see.

>>>>>>Solution: break up Russia into 179 different autonomous states for the 179 different people groups within Russia. Invasion and annexation may be necessary but Russians understand that well. ... and in further news we go to Голос кремля DTA (Voice of the Kremlin )<<<<<<<

You are 100 years behind the curve. That's exactly what Wartburg, Loeb & Kuhn had in mind when they invested $B in todays money in 1917 to topple Russian Empire by financing communist coup. (Trotsky, Lenin and murderous gang). Russia was split into republics, and republics further divided into autonomous republics and regions. Not 179 but more than 70, close to your plan. Some 60-80 million were murdered in the process and it almost worked.

“IMHO, Western Ukraine taken from Poland should be returned to Poland”

If we wanted to take Western Ukraine, we wouldn’t need your stinking “permission”.

I don't know much about the UKraine (other then the women there are very attractive) but the Crimea has been Russia for over 200 years.

From Wiki

The modern history of Crimea begins with the annexation by the Russian Empire in 1783. In 1921 the Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was created. This republic was dissolved in 1945, and the Crimea became a province first of the Russian SSR (1945-1954) and then the Ukrainian SSR (1954-1991). Since 1991 it has had the status of an Autonomous Republic within Ukraine until its annexation by the Russian Federation in the 2014.

Russia has an important naval base in the Crimea at Sevastopol, From the Finacal Times

"The Crimean port of Sevastopol, home of the Black Sea fleet, is vital to Russia’s naval power in the Mediterranean and beyond. As such the base is of critical importance as Russia seeks to regain some of the global clout that has been dwindling since the disintegration of the Soviet empire."

Sevastopol was built by Catherine the Great in 1784. The Crimea was "given" to the Ukraine as a house keeping arrangement while both where part of the Soviet Union. Now that the Soviet Union is gone Russia and rightly so IMHO, wants the Crimea back. The Ukraine has no historical claim to it, it's been Russian since the time of Catherine the Great.

No, I was simply mentioning that the Crimea has been Russian since 1783. It seems that little factoid is often left out of any conversation about Russia, the Ukraine and Crimea.

“No, I was simply mentioning that the Crimea has been Russian since 1783.”

The thing is, when you look at Russian Federation, a very large part of it has not much to do with “proper” Russia, quite a few areas still have non-Russian majority, so according to this logic they have no historical claims to it... one day Russia will be torn into pieces and Crimea will be used as a justification. The borders does change over time, nearly every country have some sort of “historical claims” to regions, which are currently not within its borders.

Historically Texas was part of Mexico and Manhattan Island was native American land. Historically the whole world has changed hands and some group of people can claim any land they don’t currently have possession of, so what?

Here is a little factoid for you, Crimea was and is legally part of Ukraine and is recognized as such by every country in the world except Russia and a handful of states who parrot what the Kremlin wants them to. And you now sing the Kremlin’s parrot song just like them, same lyrics, same tune. Shite! Pure shite!

A sovereign nation was invaded and territory of that sovereign nation was seized, all your spinning does not change those big factoids!

It is fine for Russia to break up other countries but if anyone dare suggest Russia be broken up you screech like a Red Square patriot. Those republics were 100% owned and controlled by Russians/Moscow, they were not separate autonomous nations, your Kremlin revisionism is crap!
