A new government report confirms what pro-life advocates have long feared: President Obama's health care reform law allows for taxpayer-funded abortions.
In a report to Congress, the Government Accountability Office found 28 states with no laws restricting qualified health plans that limit abortion coverage.
In Massachusetts, only two of the 111 state-approved plans comply with the historic Hyde Amendment, which prohibits abortion funding except in cases of rape or incest.
Five states (Connecticut, Hawaii, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Vermont) don't offer any qualified plans that follow Hyde's precedent, in place since 1977.
That directly contradicts the president's 2010 executive order to uphold existing laws barring the use of federal funds for abortions.
Republicans say the government watchdog report highlights last year's Politifact "Lie of the Year," which was when Mr. Obama repeatedly promised "If you like your health care plan, you can keep it."
They also say this proves that Obamacare massively funds abortion on demand.

Hardly. What we all knew was going on is just now finally being admitted.
It appears Americans don’t have standing in the courts for any actions contrary to this regime.
I was reading yesterday in the ‘revolutions’ article on FR that when it became a matter of bread to eat, that then people would revolt.
It’s hard to get them to revolt over killing their own babies.
What REALLY pisses me off (sorry Jim) is that

As far as “bread to eat” - this is how it is going to go:
The gov’t will continue to devalue our money,
making food more expensive for those who have to buy it.
For those on EBT, their allowance will simply be increased to accommodate the increased prices,
and this will be paid for with borrowed/printed money,
further devaluing our money.
So, we get hit with a triple whammy -
increased food costs, increased taxes, decreased money value.
While the spongers feel no pain.
At this point it will be news when Obammy tells the truth because lying is par for his course. What a legacy ay?
Wasn’t the abortion question the tipping point that got a couple of democrat senators to vote for obamacare? They were ‘assured’ that Obamacare would not fund abortions, so, in addition to huge money grants to their states, they sold America down the river. I’m pretty sure Landrieu was one of those, and a couple others...maybe a plains state senator?
I just skimmed your recent posts, and don’t see anything about “revolutions.” Is that a viral thread that every FReeper but me knows about?
