Bobby Jindal says he'll decide on a presidential run after midterms
Christian Science Monitor ^ | 09/16/2014 | Francine Kiefer

Washington — Louisiana’s Republican Gov. Bobby Jindal says he’s thinking and praying about running for president in 2016, and will make his decision after the November elections. His name barely registered a blip in a new CNN/ORC poll of GOP presidential possibles in New Hampshire, but that won’t be a factor in his decision, he says.

“If I were to decide to run for 2016, it would have nothing to do with polls or fundraising,” he told reporters at a Monitor breakfast Tuesday. Rather, his decisionmaking process would be much like the ones he used in deciding to run in other races – for Louisiana governor in 2003 (he lost), for the US House in 2004 (he won), and again for the governorship in 2007 (he won and was overwhelmingly reelected in 2011).

The determining questions, he said, are, “Do I think I can make a difference, do I think I have something unique to offer?”

I’m sorry. You’ll all hate me, but his looks are so against him. He looks like a terrorist.

And, THAT'S the state of American politics today. It's nothing more than a popularity contest. Past achievements mean nothing.

This is not a slam on you, just my observation...FWIW.

Too bad he wasn’t the one taking on Mary the Whore for her Senate seat. Running for President is a waste of time.

Or the remote engineering consultant who is replacing you at work. Something the Dems would shamelessly/hypocritically exploit while calling everyone else racist. Ah, politics.

Jindal would be a decent choice...

And the press has not done a complete hatchet job on him, even as LA Guv.

I would be VERY pleased if Bobby Jindal runs.

As for the previous comments about his appearance, remember who he’d run against. Jindal wins the beauty contest.

ITA with you! Unfortunately, it has been this way ever since JFK-Nixon in 1960.

Like Jindal. Issue from a foreign policy standpoint he would have to answer is how might he deal with Pakistan and would Pakistan be willing to deal with him.

I like Bobby. He’s been good for his state. Maybe Peter’s Principal applies.

Unfortunately, his demographic (Indian American) is about 1% of the U.S. population. Though a few other “Asian” groups might jump on his bandwagon. Yes, sad that it comes down to identity politics.

I know, guys. It’s a sad state of affairs; looks count in almost anything you do today- especially in a president.
It’s important he look all-American and presidential,
especially after that ugly foreign looking, America-hating Obama travesty.

All the more reason for guilty whites to vote for him to prove they are not raysis.
Thats exactly how our current president got elected... solely on his looks. (skin color)

His nationality/looks...

I am sure he has a team of individuals alot smarter than you or me that will analyze this top to bottom before he even thought about running.

OK I’ll be the first to say it.

His appearance on Duck Dynasty will what skyrockets his career. Their endorsement will win it for him.

Yes. That family and that show has that much influence on the American populace.

LOL! I remember around 2006 or so saying there's no way America would ever vote for a guy with "Hussein" in his name.

He has to run against Vitter for the governorship in 2015. If he wins there, he will stay there. If he loses there, he will run for prez.

Vitter supports Common Core, Jindal just recently shifted to opposing.

Vitter has said he would expand Medicare to give the po folks health insurance. Jindal is opposed.

RINO ALERT!!! RINO ALERT!!!!

“I was for Common Core before I was against it”

Pyush has not reduced any of our taxes since coming into office. He has stolen from certain funds to balance other funds. His great talent: smooth talker (BS-er)
He has Rush and Sean suckered as did Obama to a nation of idiots.
