We'll never have a government that represents us as long as our allies are the likes of Saudi Arabia. So much of the regime change the US has done (disastrously) is for Saudi Arabia and/or global interests. The US should have a policy of not opposing regimes that protect the rights of their citizens, including minorities. We had no business supporting regime change in Egypt, Libya, Ukraine, Syria, even Iraq.

I hate it when my country is on the wrong side.
