Sidewalks are for both bikes and pedestrians in many jurisdictions. But law, civility and common sense tell the faster biker to yield.

I am aware bicyclists are allowed in sidewalks and I also know they are allowed on sidewalks on the GG bridge. I am also aware that there are laws preventing unsafe cycling when pedestrians are present. This is the law pertaining to bicycling on the GG bridge.

Cyclists MUST yield to pedestrians and use caution in the areas of the towers as there is limited space to maneuver and sight distances are constrained.
