It is time for a new compact among the civilized peoples of this world to eradicate war at its most fundamental source: the corruption of young minds by violent ideology….

You know, there are phrases in there designed to make all people agree. Kinda makes you say, "yeah, I think I agree with him."

But then, if you pull the phrases apart and stare at them a little bit you scratch your head and wonder what the hell he is saying.

A "new compact"? "to eradicate war"?
