I don't remember the CSM writing article two years ago about how unemployment falling was a bad thing because it meant people were dropping out of the labor force. Also, you have to love how they buried the real story 6 or 7 paragraphs down:
The Commerce Department said durable goods orders, items ranging from toasters to aircraft that are meant to last three years or more, dropped 18.2 percent, the largest decline since the series started in 1992.
