I actually laughed out loud when I saw the news that the apology backfired.
Only a world class idiot believes the chief of police apologizing was going to be productive.

I don’t think that they think that any of that should matter. Read the blog “Charleston Thug Life”, this mantra about “character assassination” when a thug’s past criminal record, no matter how recent, is brought up, is being beaten to death now, by other criminals. Before long, when one is arrested, they will call it “character assassination” to refer to the crime for which they were just arrested!
I have a feeling that these choices will need to be made in a lot of other places, not just Ferguson in the coming months and years.
And we are unmoved by the absolutely sh*tty job Michael Brown’s parents did raising that overgrown POS.

I think I read about that. IIRC, the thug wasn’t killed, but he took about 5 shots. At the time of the robbery, he was out on bond for robbing at gunpoint, an oyster restaurant. Are we talking about the one which happened in Alabama, Mobile I think?

First three words of the headline are the real reason for Browns death.
There’s not enough room in the state of Missouri for the sense of entitlement that is contained in that photo. Plus “what are the crappiest parents in 2 southern states alex?”.
