Speaking of, we’re getting into influenza season. If the very early symptoms of Ebola are similar to flu, how many will be infected before they realize they better get to ER fast.
Who paid for the Liberian’ s airfare?
Seems like high-grade fever goes along with ebola, which may help distinguish it from flu.
Somebody on this thread mentioned that the cabbies told him/her in Europe that ebola came there through illegal immigrants but that nobody would say anything about it because of potential loss of revenue. The same thing would likely happen here - just like everybody was mum about where the enterovirus came from. That makes it especially difficult because it won’t just be people who have traveled to Liberia who could be exposed. It could be anybody - anybody who would normally think they have the flu.
I’ve actually not been feeling well today so the question is very pertinent.
