I know you can buy Amos and Andy online, but it sure would be nice to see it on Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, or RedBox.
As for the Little Rascals, I’m sure there are some of those that aren’t allowed either.
For that matter, the George Clooney movie “Oh Brother Where Art Thou?” probably has a few scenes that could offend.
You know, I even like seeing the “Birth of the Nation” once in a while.
I say put it all out there. Let folks see it. Discuss it. If you show how blacks were supposedly treated terribly, it’s rather enlightening how they are treated today.
You see, this is the real problem. They can’t show the old dated stuff, because then it would be impossible to continue the big lie, that racism is still terribly rampant in this nation.
There are undoubtedly biases, but today they are mostly earned.
In days gone buy, they weren’t.
We live in a different world. We just have folks who wish to game the system.
