More left wing dogma. We are not deserting them genius. We are helping them out (eg..4000 troops), and that is not what the debate was about.
The debate is about you do not want to stop flights from West Africa or secure the U.S. border because it might hurt the economy.... In other words economy = the consumption of money trumps safety and life.
