Where is the border between Islam and Islamism? The media says that the two are different as night and day; Islam is a religion of peace, and the Islamists have stolen the name. Others believe that Islamism represents the traditional, pure Islam, true to the Koran.

Fr. (Professor) Rhonheim...a man after my own heart!
That is a definition I can agree with 100%.
The good Father is absolutely right and he makes it clear that political correctness is more about politics than correctness. It time all honest speakers called out islam four what it is, a criminal conspiracy based on the ravings of a death cultist.
The longer anyone continues to pretend islam is just another religion, the longer we continue to play into the hands of criminal death cultists. Kill them all or let’s hear what their Protestant Reformation sounds like. I for one am not easily convinced.
“Christianity and Judaism command that you love your neighbor, respect his wife and children, don’t covet his possessions. Mohammadism commands that you behead your neighbor, rape his wife, enslave his children and steal his stuff.”
So, how is that different from the Anti-Christ?
It’s not.
ISLAM RELIGION OF THE SWORD
At the beginning, when they were a small minority, Mohammed preached respect for other religions condemning forced conversion to Islam; those are the parts of the Koran used by those who falsely proclaim that Islam is a religion of peace.
What they fail to disclose is that In Islamic tradition, affirmed by many scholars, there is the doctrine of abrogation, which states that later revelation to Mohammed supersedes prior revelations, and the Koranic verses ordering Muslims to fight and slay infidels, Christians and Jews came after those admonishing Muslims to live with non-believers in peace and without religious compulsion.
It is a well known fact the bloody history of Islam, but Obama, and a gutless media, still call it a religion of peace, even though that in the name of Allah more than 220 millions infidels have been slaughtered by Muslim, since the prophet of Allah beheaded in 627 AD over 700 hundred men and the pubescent boys and enslaved the women and children. In doing this, he wiped entirely the last remaining major tribe of Jews in Medina: the Qurayza.
In conclusion: You cannot separate terror from Islam.
The issue of terror is a further aspect of this same understanding. Many outside Islam seek to separate terror and Islam as if they were, in their usage, independent or even opposed ideas. This latter view is almost impossible seriously to maintain in the light of Islamic history and the text of the Quran itself.
The Islamic State and the broader jihadist movements throughout the world that agree with it are, I think, correct in their basic understanding of Islam. Plenty of evidence is found, both in the long history of early Muslim military expansion and in its theoretical interpretation of the Quran itself, to conclude that the Islamic State and its sympathizers have it basically right.
The Hindu Kush, seventy-five thousand square miles between Afghanistan and Pakistan, was populated by Hindus until approximately 1000 AD and the Muslim invasions. An estimated 60 million Hindus were murdered by Muslims over a thousand year reign, and Hindu Kush is the Muslim name for the region. It means Hindu Killer.

MSGR. WALTER BRANDMULLER

The topic was explored by an authoritative specialist in Church history, monsignor Walter Brandmüller, president of the Pontifical Committee for Historical Sciences.
Those who maintain that understanding jihad as a holy war constitutes a sort of deviation from the true Islamic tradition are therefore not telling the truth, and history sadly demonstrates that violence has characterized Islam since its origin, and that Mohammed himself systematically organized and led the raids against the tribes that did not want to convert and accept his dominion, thus subjecting the Arab tribes one by one. Naturally, it must also be said that at the time of Mohammed warfare was part of the Bedouin culture, and no one saw anything objectionable about it.
But the biggest difference between Christianity and Islam concerns the crucial issue of understanding the human person. This is shown by the fact that many Islamic countries have not accepted the declaration of human rights promulgated by the United Nations in 1948, or have done so with the reservation of excluding the norms that conflict with Qur'anic law which means practically all of them.
In Islamic tradition, in fact, the concept of the equality of all human beings does not exist, nor does, in consequence, the concept of the dignity of every human life. Sharia is founded upon a threefold inequality: between man and woman, between Muslim and non-Muslim, and between freeman and slave.
Something you don't need to tell me.
I so agree with the professor. You go back to Islam’s origin and it shows that Muhammad represents violence. We would have never had these problems if the liberals and moderates would realize this religion is what it is / you cannot pick parts of any religion to leave out that origin factor and claim that to be peaceful now. I am not buying it. There are many people who are too nice, too immature and have been indoctrinated by this media who have sympathies for these radicals.
