Hey, Mizz Atlas? You know the difference between involved and committed?

Take my breakfast. For the eggs, the chicken was involved. For the bacon, well, that little piggy was committed.

Both contributed to wonderful meal.

What!? Show ME a squirrel eating a bird. I have never heard of squirrels eating birds. They eat nuts and berries. What are these, conservative squirrels?

Didn't have a camera handy at the time, but I have seen one gnawing happily away on a fried chicken drumstick in parking lot corner of Popeye's.

Once in awhile he posts it.

These nutbags are certainly entitled to their opinion, and may even have a point about how livestock and poultry are treated, but they really need to keep their protests outside of private businesses - or be arrested for trespassing and causing a disturbance.

You’d get patchouli stink on your chicken, but yes.

Now those people don't mess around when it comes to animal cruelty (Warning: the pics at link are very graphic):

Muslims Furious After One Country Bans Halal Slaughter

You know, I'm fine if she wants to have a pet chicken and love it and treat it nice. I think that's wonderful. I like animals and don't like to see any creature suffer cruelty. I think people should have any kind of pet they want as long as it's not a danger to others. But she doesn't have a pet. She has a "little girl". She crossed the line. She went into toonesville and, unfortunately, there's no going back for her. Now she feels the need to foist the lunacy on the rest of humanity. When she starts doing this at Muslim establishments, I'll respect her a little more.

That’s funny.

In larger cities, falcons have thrived in the buildings eating pigeons, mice, rats, etc. An aquaintence of mine worked in one of these buildings where a nest could be observed from a window. In general, the pictures of what could be seen were grose. But, in one picture he showed me, a falcon was in its nest with part of a carcass that included a bushy gray ad white tail, probably 4” long. We decided the falcon had found a kitten, a cute, huggable, loving, furry kitten.

*I am not a cat person and it WAS funny.

One of my engineer husband’s professors told a similar story, when the class was assigned a semester-long group project. He was asking the classmates to be committed to the final product. It was one of my husband’s favorite projects (and professors).

I read a few of the comments, and one of them that I enjoyed most had the poster commenting that he’d gotten a cluckle out of watching the video. Reading that made me cluckle, too.

“Snow’s unborn children are delicious...”

I had one of Snow’s aborted children this morning, fried, between 2 pieces of white bread, with 3 pieces of bacon, a slice of cheese, a little mayo and some salt & pepper.

I’m not sure how many cultural, religious and moral boundaries I violated, but darn that sandwich was good

Yes, my vet has an issue. But they’ve given up trying to proselytize me on the value and merits of commercial fat-wrapped human food byproducts sold as “kibble”.

My BARF Vet is Dr. Ian Billinghurst. Since he is in Austrailia, and my pup and I are in the US, book-form vet advice has to suffice.

[Billinghurst wrote a few books, among them: “Give Your Pup a Bone”, “Growing Pups with Bones”]

“It’s not food,it’s violence.”
She clearly does not understand food or violence. She needs some education on both.
