Monrovia — Two more journalists have died of the killer Ebola virus disease, the Press Union of Liberia (PUL) has regrettably announced.

Journalist Alexander Koko Anderson, former employee of the Liberia Women Democracy Radio died at the ELWA Ebola Treatment Unit Wednesday morning (Oct. 8), while Cassius Saye, a cameraman at Real TV passed off over the weekend at the ELWA Ebola Treatment Unit in Monrovia.

Rea TV staff Cassius Saye was among the station's non-essential staff sent home in the wake of the Ebola outbreak, while Alexander Anderson was no longer in the employ of LWDR, officials of the two institutions told the PUL Wednesday.

The latest brings to three the number of journalists killed by the deadly virus since the initial outbreak in March. The first journalist, Journalist Yaya Kromah, succumbed to Ebola last month at the J.F.K Treatment Center in Monrovia.

Non-essential employees of Government in Monrovia have been given the month off. Note, among the dead, is at least one, perhaps too late, who was similarly considered non-essential by his employer.

Hope Obola doesn’t see this as a way to reduce his staff.

I am surprised they got in such close contact with ebola patients.

CDC is now saying being in the same room as an ebola patient constitutes exposure.

Also, being within 3’ is “contact” distance.

The CDC’s truest statement is “We really do not know how it is spread”

With the number of people in Liberia still catching ebola outside the treatment centers, the risk remains just living in the area, not just the identified patients.

We need more US journalists to show how liberal and non-racist they are and go cover the Ebola story in Liberia.

t starts with a little flea
That jumps upon a rat
It bites the rat and gives it germs
And for the rat that’s that

Then the flea it looks for
Somewhere else to find its food
It jumps on you and me
And starts to suck our blood...

And then you start to swell!
Then you start to spit some blood
And then you really smell!

Then you know it’s time to ring
Your funeral bell
And along comes Mr Death
And swishes you to hell!

There’s lots of cures to help you
If you have the cash
Kill the village cats and dogs
And burn them all to ash

Sit down in a sewer
So the smell drives plague away
Blame Global Warming
Then you’ll be OK

First you feel a little poorly
And then you start to swell!
Then you start to spit some blood
And then you really smell!

Then you know it’s time to ring
Your funeral bell
And along comes Mr Death
And swishes you to hell!

Plague kills little children
Even more than mums or dads
A priest said it’s because
The wicked kids have acted bad

Half the people on the earth
Are simply blown away
So for Mr Death these will be
Really busy days

First you feel a little poorly
And then you start to swell!
Then you start to spit some blood
And then you really smell!

Then you know it’s time to ring
Your funeral bell
And along comes Mr Death
And swishes you to hell!

And along comes Mr Death
And swishes you to hell!

Not bad, a driving guitar lead, a pounding base beat
and some screaming head banging and I think you’ll
have it.

I cannot believe that 8000 paranoid Africans all got infected by being vomited on or by getting blood splattered on them. I think this is a lot more infectious than the CDC is letting us know.

The CDC only tells us what that POS odumbo wants told
How many times did the VDV say there was no cause for concern since it is extremely difficult to catch

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

Yet WebMD says sitting next to someone on an airplane isn’t a risk factor.

Unsurprisingly, ansel12 scored 100% on the quiz...

Is that it what it says? Is this your input?

It almost sounds personal rather than actually relevant to the subject.
