If things are bad, how will having an extra 2% following through really improve things?

remember, the gays are all about FLARE and SPLASH....

I predict once this sub group finds out that marriage is a legal contract, which affects valubles, land, houses, condos, cars, stocks, bonds, children, and loans and fees then they'll not be too quick to sign away their assets...asses, maybe, but assets no.

It's not really the 2% figure, but rather the backlog of homosexuals of all ages who want to get married but haven't been able to before now.

IOW There's going to be a bubble of homosexual marriages moving through the process.

Here's something everyone needs to be aware of. The Democrats are starting to get nervous that the fairly affluent gay community is, as a result of being able to wed, now being hit hard in the face with ... the marriage penalty.

They're trying to get ahead of the issue, since the gay community is such a powerful donor base for them. Patty Murray (who chairs the Senate Budget Committee) introduced the "21st Century Worker Tax Cut Act" several months back that takes firm aim at some of the marriage-related negative tax impacts.
