Why our fight? A good question, one I am not sure I can answer. I can only say that were I a young man without the responsibilities of family, I would be fighting with the Kurds. In this world there are many fine, wonderful people. They are generally peaceful and happy harming no one and giving of themselves. Asking only to be left alone, to live in peace. Beside them in this world lies, evil, hate and malice. Brutality boardoring madness. It is our responsibility to stand against this evil, each in our way. Sometimes that means standing on the wall to fight the darkness. Not all the petty evils of men for we all suffer them but the great evils certainly. Wish I could say it better.
Those are nice sentiments but I think you are mistaken about the Kurds.
