Shouldn’t an AG defend the state constitution?

Constitutions are old-fashioned. No one pays attention to those things anymore. Use your judgment! Make things up as you go! Individuals today are ever so much smarter than those who came before them!

Kam Harris does NOT believe in the Constitution, upholding laws or prosecuting minorities. Part of her path to “glory” was screwing former California Assembly Speaker and San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown.

Yes they should. But it depends if they are liberal or not, and what the issue is.

If the issue is homosexual marriage, for example, many states chose not to defend their laws defining marriage as a man and a woman in court.

I hate to be cynical, but, attorneys general will defend their states laws as long as they don’t conflict with liberal goals or liberal opinion. If a case such as marriage comes up which does conflict with liberal goals, then they choose not to defend such laws.

A related issue is why such attorneys general don’t get impeached for not doing their duty. I’m sure the answer is that liberal legislators who would have to impeach see nothing wrong with such people not doing their duty in certain cases such as marriage.
