ABUJA, Nigeria — Two alarming new cases of Ebola have emerged in Nigeria, widening the circle of people sickened beyond the immediate group of caregivers who treated a dying airline passenger in one of Africa’s largest cities.
The two new cases were infected by their spouses, both medical workers who had direct contact with Liberian-American Patrick Sawyer, who flew into Nigeria from Liberia and Togo and infected 11 others before he died in July. The male and female caregivers also then died of Ebola, Health Minister Onyebuchi Chukwu said Friday.”
Patrick Sawyer was a naturalized American from Liberia who brought ebola from Nigeria after taking care of his stricken sister.
CCTV shows he must have known that he was infected because he was avoiding contact with others and is seen writhing on the terminal floor.

The looted slum area, West Point, was in Monrovia Liberia.
There were no looted slums in Nigeria.
The cases in Nigeria were directly related to contact with Patrick Sawyer. Either primary, or secondary.
There have been no new ebola cases in Nigeria in over a month.
Hadn't heard this. The Sawyer case illustrates clearly how people will go to great lengths to conceal and lie about their condition (while selfishly putting countless others at risk) in order to access what they perceive to be life-saving medical treatment.
CNN’s Robin Meade interviewed Mrs. Sawyer last week. Meade thought it was going to be a sweet little tug at your heart interview but it bombed big time. Meade kept asking her to send a message to “Louisa” Troh. Sawyer dodged it a couple times but Meade kept pushing “Louisa” and had to tell her who she was. Sawyer was like what? And then claimed she’d talked to her and had the most comforting conversation with “Louisa”, blah, blah, blah. Lie! Lie! Lie! And neither one of them knew the woman’s name is Louise.
