It's criminally irresponsible, IMO. The troops are not trained for this mission, and they're doing nothing that the West Africans couldn't do for themselves.

How do you figure that the troops we are sending are not trained and capable of performing their duties there?

Do you really think that the Seabees can't build, that the engineers can't build, that the headquarters element from the 101st can't run a headquarters, that the lab techs can't do their lab work, that the supply and logistics people can't do supply and logistics, that the aviation people can't do aviation?
