Despite being a citizen of Israel and a member of the Israeli Knesset, radical Arab MK Ahmed Tibi (United Arab List) is in London on Monday to take part in a diplomatic push urging the British parliament to recognize “Palestine” in a non-binding vote.
Tibi is talking with British MPs of the Labour Party, whose member Grahame Morris proposed the vote, and trying to convince them that voting to recognize the Palestinian Authority (PA) as a state will advance the “peace process.”
In fact, the Labour Party is reportedly highly divided over the vote, with many senior members of the party holding an internal revolt and refusing to follow orders to vote for recognition by boycotting the session.
“To say that there is a row going on it putting it very mildly,” said one senior Labour MP of the vote. “People are furious. This is an attempt to rip up 13 years of carefully calibrated policy. It total madness and makes the prospect of peace less rather than more likely.” …

I think the UN should recognize a Palestinian homeland in a suburb of London and Paris; a overflow area for the Gaza Strip; a refuge area for the poor, downtrodden masses.
Palestinians could migrate there freely and escape the gunsights of those evil Zionists.
A deadline of 10 years would be established for all Palestinians to migrate, at which point, Israel would pay $5B compensation to acquire the land of Gaza.
Europeans would then have brought about peace in Gaza!

Do we have a problem with Islam?. Yes. Or extreme Islam more to the point.
BUT the UK is 96% NON Muslim. Yes, we are far too PC and the extremists make a lot of noise (empty vessels....), but the idea the UK is, has been and will be conquered by Islam is a nonsense. For all their noise, Muslims in the UK have no actual political power, economic power or even social power (again, for all their noise).
They aren’t even (contrary to US myth) the largest ethnic group in the UK. That is the black Caribbean descended community, who have been here so long you don’t even think of them being an ethnic group anymore really (mass migration 1948-1960s, some smaller black groups earlier, in London and port cities like Liverpool, Swansea, Newcastle, Glasgow).
