It seems to me that this must be personal for you somehow, MrEdd, because your replies to me have been overwrought. I have given you a truthful, Biblically based answer. I’m leaving it at that.
I posted a fact on this thread defending a young lady from spurious comments being leveled at her (ostensibly in the name of the God of the bible) questioning her faith on the basis of one of her fashion accessories.
You took issue with that.
I gave you a passage of Scripture showing that God did indeed use one of those self same fashion accessories in the book of Genesis. You didn't even bother to look it up and see if I was right.
You aren't concerned that I am overwrought. You are angry and sanctimonious. Right now you are back peddling because there is no scriptural reference to counter what I pointed out to you.
If you were truly concerned and I were in error you would show how scripture denigrated this poor lady I had the temerity to defend and quote chapter and verse in love.
You got awfully upset that someone stepped up to defend this kid that was being metaphorically stoned in the name (Freepers claimed) of God.
I don't pretend every thing this girl said is golden, but she is trying to follow Christ as near as I can see and extraneous catty remarks on her wardrobe have been made that are uncalled for.
