Romney lost for one reason. When he had Obama on the ropes during the debate, he let him out of the corner. Obama was dead and buried. Romney refused to throw the last shovel of dirt on his grave.
Romney did not want to be President. He still does not want to be President. He covets, however the glorious Nomination. The Gopes see Romney as their bulwark against the Right and all it implies, free markets, less government control, lower taxes, all those things that take away from their wealth opportunities and power.
