UC-backed state loan program will provide aid to undocumented students

Undocumented UC students who qualify for in-state tuition but are ineligible for federal assistance soon will be able to borrow up to $4,000 a year to make up the shortfall, thanks to a new law supported by the University of California and state legislators.

“Giving undocumented students the same access to financial aid as other students can improve their chances of academic success and help them reach their dream of a college degree and a brighter future,” said UC President Janet Napolitano. “By investing in our students, we are investing in California.”

Roughly 450 undocumented students at UCLA would be eligible for the new loan program. About 2,000 undocumented undergraduate students are enrolled at UC.

The first-year cost for the state and UC is an estimated $3.1 million each, starting in the 2015-16 fiscal year, and $3.6 million the following year.

I continually get requests for donations from UCSD. Sorry guys. If you have enough money to spend on illegal aliens, you don't need more from me.

How about a compromise?

Monies for ILLEGAL ALIENS who are capable of taking and graduating in STEM subjects only.

Multi benefits here.

First, we get only folks with talent who have the capability to aid our country, not more Obamas.

Second: We avoid giving additional monies to worthless departments teaching meaningless drivel.

Third: It ticks the h*ll out of liberals, who love worthless departments reaching meaningless drivel.

Let’s call Napolitano an “undocumented mental case”. I’ll donate a dollar for her internment in a home for clueless politicians.

In other news today.....$4000 rewards will be offered “Giving failed bank robbery suspects the same access to financial gain as successful robbers can improve their chances of financial success and help them reach their dream of riches and a brighter future,” said UC President Janet Napolitano. “
