This one throws me for a loop. When these were found, one would think the Bush administration would’ve trumpeted it with the grandest “told you so” messaging possible.
I don’t understand America anymore.
It is impossible for the media to shut up a determined president. They can certainly argue against him, call him names, run outrageous exposes....but they cannot prevent him from standing before a microphone and repeatedly telling the truth to get a particular story out.
My personal opinion, now that I know the liberalism of Karl Rove to be a certain thing, is that this was a Rove decision, and that Rove and the other establishment types wanted this new homosexual culture, the peon-ization of America, and the demise of this current US Constitution.
When you are fighting a war, you never want to announce to your underdog enemy that if you look hard enough, you can find WMDs to use against US forces.
America is easy to understand. There’s them. And there’s us. Them are the wealthy and elites from both parties.

They also believed it was a few chemical weapons, mostly old weapons from Saddam gassing the Kurds. Even Bush’s own men didn’t think they amounted to anything. This is not a new story. It was reported when the war was going on.
