The West African nation where the Ebola outbreak has taken the most devastating toll needs nearly 80,000 more body bags over the next six months as it battles the deadly virus. An inventory of supplies from the Liberian Ministry of Health and Social Welfare shows the massive gap between the resources the government has and the key supplies it desperately needs to crush the epidemic. Liberia projects a gap of 79,490 body bags and 989,985 protective suits. The ministry's report, dated Oct. 10, also says 2,425 Liberians have died of the viral hemorrhagic fever since the start of the outbreak, including 95 health care workers.

The US gubermint will supply Africa and there will be nothing left for the citizens of this country. IV saline, PPEs, medicine, body bags etc. You watch the shortages appear.

But, no worries...no need to restrict flights from the affected areas.

Excuse me for asking this question at this time, but, is Liberia known to have any particular abundance of rare minerals or petroleum oil? Does the geography of Liberia offer any militarily strategic advantage to America? I’m wondering if there is more to the story than Obama acting like the “Tear Down America, for The Good of The World” President we all know him to be.

Liberia is potentially the next Nigeria of oil in Western Africa.

Answer your question?

Liberia is the closest thing the USA has ever had to a ‘colony’............that’s why we have the so-called ‘responsibility’ for them, like France does with the Ivory Coast and Belgium with the Congo......................

Africa needs this, Africa needs that. Why doesn’t Africa care for themselves? If Africa wants to breed like fleas then Africa can learn to take of their own.

Give Africa something to put in their water so most of their uncontrolled breeding gets under control.

People from Liberia have very American sounding names because the nation was founded by repatriated slaves back in the 1800’s...........

And so it begins. Obamatullah will have his way. Millions will die, many more millions will be detained and held without due process.

I can hear Satan laughing at us all.

That number could easily be a serious underestimate of their needs.

Let’s see, “only” 77,500 or so additional body bags needed for the next 6 months, some 31 times more than they’ve needed to date.

Yup, sounds like we’ve got a handle on this Ebola outbreak. Nothing to worry about here, everything’s going to be fine. /sarc (as if I had to clear that up).

YET...no one in government past the level of the local mailman can figure out that maybe, just maybe, we should ban travel from West Africa, and quarantine anyone who has been there in the last month.

What. The. Phuck.

It is enough to tip the scales toward “they are trying to infect us.” I simply cannot explain such galactic-level stupidity without adding in motivation. NO ONE can be THAT stupid, can they?

Seriously, I think that the only hope for this country is to stop importing more cases (as if we need it, given the complete lack of preparation or knowledge as to how to handle existing cases of this Level 4 disease). However, I am pretty sure pResident Obola won’t order a travel ban until at least the day after the election.

Interesting number. Why not say 100,000. Such a specific number is just weird.
