Scott talked about his Mother throughout the debate.

Yes, he told the same un-useful story about his mother being abused in a prior marriage presumably in a lame attempt to curry favor with women -- it was weird hearing him repeat it at least twice. He comes off being oddly up tight in his presentation and speaks so fast he slurs the words making him almost unintelligible. In spite of his goofiness, he is the lesser crook of the choices we have for our governor, IMO.

Well, I understand Scott being upset. I hate Charlie Crist. But, I think Scott showed poor judgment in not coming on stage. I’d have gone out there as soon as Crist did and said something like: “Even though it violates the Debate Rules, I won’t object to Gov. Crist having a fan on himself. I wouldn’t want his tan to start melting.” That would have been a winning zinger. But, as it is...... not looking good for Gov. Scott.

It is so odd to be against Crist today when in 2004, FREEPERS were all over themselves saying how incredible Crist is......I remember reading (I was a lurker for a year) saying Florida for Crist because he behaves like Christ. So odd. I live in Florida now and have to vote and it is the worst vote I ever have to decide on. Which idiot Republican to vote for???? They both literally suck.

Scott got played. It was a fan for crying out loud. Yes, it was a dirty trick. But it worked. Now Scott is going to look like he threw a temper tantrum over a fan. He took the bait, and now thats all anyone is talking about.

Sort of like Grimes in Kentucky. Does anyone have any clue how she did in the debate? Nope. All anyone is talking about is that she won’t admit who she voted for for President.

Every debate has a sound bite. You win or lose in the public eye based on that sound bite. And Scott’s “sound bite” is going to be that he wouldn’t go out there because the other guy got a fan. Nothing is worse in politics than to be laughed at.
