Vice President Joe Biden talked about the trouble the middle class is having during the Barack Obama presidency at an event earlier today in Philadelphia:
"The middle class is getting killed," Biden said.
"In the last ten years, average salary of the middle class in America according to Standard & Poor's has gone up 14 cents."
Biden's event was "on the Importance of Investing in our Nation's Infrastructure," according to the White House.

Well that 14 cents should more than cover inflation, since the economy has been rebounding so solidly, we are told month after month.....
I need to call out Joe on this one.
After the Tucson shooting we were told by liberals not to use any military or violent imagery or metaphors.

He couldn’t very well say ‘in the past 6 or 7 years’, then people will know he’s stabbing Obama in the back. So lump in the ‘in the past ten years’ .....
But Bush has been so low key after his presidency (unlike that other guy whose been pimping his wife for the job), that a lot of people don't even really remember those times so much.
