Hospital Worker Who Handled Ebola Samples Is on Cruise Ship Oct 17, 2014 By ABC NEWS via GOOD MORNING AMERICA
A Dallas health care worker who handled clinical specimens from an Ebola-infected patient is on a cruise ship in the Caribbean, with the worker self-quarantined and being monitored for signs of infection, the State Department said in a statement.
The unidentified female worker departed on a cruise ship from Galveston, Texas, Oct. 12 and was out of the country before being notified of active monitoring required by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, according to the government statement.
The monitoring was established as two nurses at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, Nina Pham and Amber Vinson, tested positive for Ebola.

Claustrophobia, food poisoning, a fair chance of drowning, and now—the Ebola virus!
So, is “self quarantine” a euphemism for being stuck on the ship’s launch because Belize wouldn’t allow them to come ashore and the cruise ship wouldn’t allow them to return? Or, was she finally allowed back on? She was stuck on the launch last night.
These Obama administration is crass...and, IMHO, evil. They believe they can say anything and it will be accepted as they proceed with the destruction of this nation.
The very idea that the people who worked with the foreign man who came to this country (which he should never have been able to do) and then died of Ebola in Dallas, handled his samples, etc., etc. are walking around, on cruises, taking flights, etc, without they having been quarantined is worse than crazy.
Yesterday, I heard Dr. Gil Molby on the radio today. He is a board certified, trained emergency trauma physician with three decades of acute care experience. He currently practices medicine in Springfield, MO and Seattle, WA. In his home town of Springfield, he was voted Springfield’s Best Physician Comments about him inlcued, “He’s a doctor known by most people for his daily radio program where he often tackles topics that trigger water cooler chatter,” and “He’s a Dav...id in the world of medical Goliath’s.” Currently he is passionately involved in the Ebola outbreak and its potential dire consequences if not handled and addressed properly.
He has been warning for weeks that the potential for a major outbreak in the United states is much more possible than we are being told, and that this administration’s current practise on dealing with the disease, their statements on how it spreads, and on the administrtion not seeking to quarantine the outbreak to West Afirca with travel restrictions and closures is almost assuring that a far worse outbreak will occur. Right now, Dr. Molbey could be characterized as leading the fight to insist on full disclosure by the CDC, and protect American citizens on American soil and abroad from this dangerous disease.
Today he indicated that he spoke with a well known and respected Epidemiologist whom he aksed how we might go about preventing a major spread to the United States at this point. Dr. Molbey indicated that this individual, soberly replied, “Gil, I fear it is already too late to do so.”
Dr. Molby has set up a site on the web called, “Surviving Ebola.” I urge all my family, loved ones, friends and neighbors to go there and educate yourself on how to be as best prepared as possible in the event of a major outbreak across this nation. I pray we can yet avoid it, but being prepared is the best course of action. Also...I urge everyone to pray to God in Heaven for His help. Please visit this site and learn how to protect yourself and others, from getting Ebola, and what you can do in your everyday life to limit the possibility of coming in contact with this deadly disease

Although the story was mentioned on FR earlier, I’m not sure anyone has pointed out that this it for cruises, for the duration.
People were already nervous based on the history of mass outbreaks of one kind or another (usually not fatal) on these boats (and this case may be another case of bad cheesecake). But now they are thinking ...
Is this trip necessary? Nope.
Expect new bookings to evaporate.
Expect trips already booked to be cancelled or just abandoned.

Stay away from the poop deck
We took a cruise last year on Norwegian. There were “Washy-Washy” girls stationed everywhere. Before you could enter any of the common areas on the ship you had to have your hands sprayed with a disinfectant solution. By “common” area I mean the galleys, casino, theaters, etc.
These young ladies, all very attractive btw, would literally chase you down. You were denied entry if you refused their services. They got a special round of applause at the end of the cruise.
Every night all of the pools and hot tubs were completely drained, disinfected, and power washed. It was interesting to watch. I know Norwegian takes sanitary protocols very, very seriously.
I’ve never seen such attention paid to hand cleanliness in my life. Now this was a Royal Norwegian ship so I can’t speak to the practices on other lines. I’m sure the Captain and crew of this ship are literally defecating bricks over this.
If this woman really is in a skiff off the stern of that boat her nausea level must be nailed to 11 right now. Even a gentle 2 foot swell in one of those things is a prescription for some serious sea sickness.

WHY was not ALL personnel, that in the slightest matter or form, had any form of contact or service with Liberian Duncan, received moving gag-order = quarantine for at least one month???
They are lying through their false teeth. I visited a granddaughter last night at Tampa General Hospital asking her “black” nurse if they getting any Ebola training. The answer was NONE, NADA, ZILCH!!!
