Questionnaires accomplish little or nothing. When you play hardball with a serious epidemic, people who enter the country are quarantined for a month.
It’s done with a buffer system, broken down by weeks. People who have just arrived are put in the first week camp and watched very carefully. They are kept far apart from each other so the first camp is the largest.
Second week camp is a lot more relaxed, with families reunited. They are provided with many normal amenities, and get brief medical checks before proceeding.
Third and fourth camp is where they are allowed to communicate with locals they know, and to handle administrative matters like processing paperwork.
There will be plague ships within a month trying to make the 1800 mile run to Brazil.
Has Obola yet said why he thinks a travel ban is “not the right thing to do”?
