If the Republicans win the Senate, and hold the House, how will things be different than they are now?
Hopefully we will get new leadership (Speaker Dennis Ross R-FL) and Senate majority leader Tom Scott (R SC)
Nothing will change. Bills might get to the Senate floor with Reid out of the way but never get past the communists power of King Obama. We have two more years to suffer.
Just what I was saying, if they take the Senate we have to pressure the living freakin’ hell out of them because now they have absolutely no excuse not to impeach this bastard. I’m ready to call my congressman every single hour of every single day if that’s what it takes, I will drive him absolutely nuts.
McConnell will replace Dingy Harry as Speaker of the Senate (or whatever). Isn’t that thrilling?
Obama called it the "Do-nothing Congress", even though the House passed over 500 pieces of legislation in 22 months at one point.
The Senate simply would not take the legislation to the floor, and Harry Reid acts as the False Prophet to Obama's Antichrist.
To be perfectly honest with you, and candid - my feeling is even if we were to take the Senate, America is finished.
We have turned from God, and we won't turn back to Him. I believe we are in the last days.
The only REAL answer is we don’t know.
Now the gamblers amongst you can wager on nothing being done, and if past history is any indicator, you well may be correct.
HOWEVER, it is not just us watching as spectators—we must be active participants, always demanding they institute true conservative policies and confront Obama and the liberals as if the country’s life depended on it. Because it DOES!
I believe that we can influence them if we stick with it. We have no influence with the democrats. The Republicans better play nicely with us—that is include us—or we look for another party.
Meet the new boss..same as the old boss.
THAT is what I worry about.
