It’s both actually...sad that a young man was murdered and his companion was unable to do anything about it as they were both unarmed...I get that it’s ceremonial...but we have got to get beyond this PC idiocy.
If a servicemember is on “post”, then arm them...they’ve been trained and prepared to go into battle...there is no reason not to other than PC.
Infuriating in that the savage was able to take down one of Canada’s finest in such a brutal and despicable manner.
