WhyisaTexasgirlinPA opened up a can of worms (for me, anyway) discusing absentee ballots. Her husband asked for an absentee, but found himself back home for the Nov 6 in-person election at the polls, and surrendered his absentee, per poll worker instruction.

My question is, what happens to these unmarked ballots? Do they get dumped into a big rolling garbage bin to be filled out by someone else? If you were a RAT in TX, you could send a copy of your ID to procure your absentee via mail, show up to vote in person, and your absentee ballot has to go somewhere. Is it stamped ‘invalidated’? Or is it collected by RAT precincts to fill out and stuff ballot boxes with???
